Belvedere Guesthouse** is situated near the Retezat National Park , Hateg City, Hunedoara County on the european road named E79.

The pension has it’s own parking lot, a beautyfull courtyard, intimate and secluded, with special places for recreation and entertainment. Around the pool with clean water are permanently two grills, chairs, swings. In the courtyard we have a fish pond where enthusiasts can try their skill at fishing.

We offer a total of 50 beds in double rooms or in rooms with three or four beds. Rooms are equipped with cable television and bathroom with shower and hot water round the clock.

In our restaurant or on the courtyard terrace you can enjoy delicious meals cooked in a traditional manner. The recepies ingredients are procured from our own farm or from official hunting and fishing organized activites.

For entertainment of our guests we can organize trips and mountain routes in Retezat Mountains , moto enduro racings, formal parties, hunting and fishing activities. In the cold season you can practice winter sports at Rausor ski slope, equipped with a lift station. The Rausor ski slope is located at about 20 km from Belvedere.

You can also organize educational tours for visiting historic sites, places of worship such as:
– Prislop Monastery;
– Colt Monastery;
– The oldest stone churches in Romania: Densus church, Island church, the church from Santamaria Orlea, church Strei ;
– Colt Fortress – inspired Jules Verne to write the “Fortress of the Carpathians” novel.
– Huniazilor Castle in Hunedoara and the one at Santamaria Orlea;
– Zimbru Natural Reserve at the exit of the city;
– Augusta Traiana Colonia Ulpia Dacica Sarmisegetusa, romanian ancient fortress.

The large space allows us to organize events, meetings, new year’s eve parties and even school camps . It can accommodate a total of up to 50 people (hikers, pilgrims).
